Birthday Party!!! Can we get a new photographer?

We had a birthday party last week for the February kids who hadn't had their party yet and for one of our March birthday kiddos. Theresa was gone for the day already so I was left to take pics. Sigh... I'm really not a good photographer. (In fact, if anyone would like to give me a few lessons when I come back to the states for my mandatory visa time, I would really appreciate it!)

I'm sorry to admit that when party preparations began, I was in the middle of taking care of a sick kiddo and also finishing some administrative stuff while passing some new medical care instructions off to nurses and I really was not ready to take a break for a party. I sort of had a 'let's get this over with' attitude that I later repented of.

When I saw how adorable the kids were, I melted. Some of the Feb. birthday kiddos already had their birthday celebration so this time around the party was for Felicia, Brent, Justin, and Santosh. Each of the children received a new outfit for their birthday. I know my photography stinks but I still wanted to share the pictures with you.

Here is Felicia in her stunning new dress. Looking bored to death. Sorry, but our smiley little giggle box would just NOT smile for the camera this time! She looked at us all like we were crazy and ended up being more interested in checking out Justin's watch than in the party. Hehe.





And here is Brent. This picture makes me laugh so hard! One of the Ayah's had put shoes on him that were too small and he wanted them off. She was fussing at him for trying to take them off and he was Maaaad!



But here he is happy again after Erinakka told the Ayah to take those shoes off of him...





The best part of the whole party was watching Justin's excitement. He was sooo cute! He was so excited he kept yelling and pointing at the cake, the table, the people, etc. When we sang a song, he was waving his hand in the air with such enthusiasm and he had the biggest most beautiful smile!





And Santosh. He was also quite happy to be the center of attention! And doesn't he look handsome in his new clothes?





And last but NOT least was our party entertainment. The amazing Pheobe singing "Happy Birthday" in ENGLISH!!! Little smarty pants =) You can see Michael in the background really enjoyed her song too!
